Ron Bjorge
Ron received his B.Sc and M.Sc from the University of Alberta in the 1970’s and has worked for the provincial government (Alberta Fish and Wildlife Division – now in the Department of Sustainable Resource Development) since that time. Over his 33 years with the Department he has served in a variety of positions in the wildlife field including wildlife research, habitat protection and management, wildlife management and wildlife administration. He is currently Alberta’s Executive Director of Wildlife Management.
He has worked on a great variety of wildlife management issues ranging from wolf/ cattle depredation research to piping plover conservation to wildlife issues in the Parkland Natural Region. He and has spend most of his time in the Parkland and Prairie areas of Alberta as well and the Peace River Region. He has served as President of the Alberta Chapter of The Wildlife Society and is the past co chair of the Canadian Wildlife Directors Committee. Ron is keenly interested in the stewardship of our provinces wildlife.
Duane Radford
Duane Radford represents the Alberta Fish and Game Association (AFGA) on the Antelope Creek Ranch (ACR) management committee. Duane obtained his B.Sc. (Zoology) and M.Sc. (Biology) degree at the University of Calgary and his Pre-M.Sc. degree (Zoology) at the University of Manitoba. He’s a long-standing member of the AFGA. He also belongs to several other conservation groups: Trout Unlimited Canada and the Edmonton Trout Fishing Club.
Duane represents Alberta on the Fisheries and Oceans Canada Recreational Fishing Awards Committee and is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Nature Conservancy of Canada, Alberta Region. He worked for the Alberta government’s Fish and Wildlife Division for 34 years, being regional director of the southern region from 1980-1992 and retired as Director of the Fisheries Branch in 2002. During his tenure as regional director, the ACR was purchased by the Alberta government, Wildlife Habitat Canada and Ducks Unlimited Canada and came under the tenure of the ACR management committee.
He is an award winning writer and photographer, writing for various publications in Canada and the United States, and is Vice-President of the Outdoor Writers of Canada. He currently resides in Edmonton, Alberta.
Andy von Busse
Andy von Busse is a past president of the Alberta Fish and Game Association and currently is the Finance Chair for the Antelope Creek Ranch. He has a long history of leadership in conservation issues, at the local, provincial and national level. He continues to have an intense interest in conservation issues, and his tenure on the Antelope Creek Management Committee since 2000 is part of "giving back".
He has been awarded a Life Membership in the Alberta Fish and Game Association for his long term contributions, as well as being a recipient of the Queen's Jubilee medal for volunteer work in the conservation area.
Andy currently operates a file storage and shredding business in the Edmonton area.

Dave Kay
Dave has a degree in wildlife biology from the University of Guelph and has spent the past 15 years of his career with Ducks Unlimited Canada. Much of this time has been spent identifying key habitat sites for migratory birds in boreal, taiga and arctic regions of Canada’s far north. Currently, Dave is the Manager of Provincial Operations, responsible for the development, implementation and management of DUC’s wetland conservation programs in Alberta. Dave is a director of the Alberta NAWMP Partnership and the Alberta Water Council.
